Sleekhive Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for Content Editors with a strong background in eBook writing to join our team!
Responsibilities:
· Review and edit eBook manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
· Ensure consistency in writing style, tone, and voice throughout the eBook.
· Collaborate with authors and writers to refine and enhance content, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
· Conduct thorough fact-checking and research to verify the accuracy and credibility of information presented in the eBook.
· Structure and organize content to enhance readability and flow, ensuring logical sequencing of ideas.
· Identify and address any gaps or inconsistencies in the content, making necessary revisions and additions.
· Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the visual elements of the eBook complement and enhance the written content.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in eBook writing and editing.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.
· Proven experience as a Content Editor or similar role, with a focus on eBook writing/editing.
· Strong knowledge of grammar, style guides, and publishing standards.
· Proficiency in using editing software and tools.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with SEO principles and practices is a plus.
